Parking information

Parking services

All the Councils car parks operate on a pay and display basis. Pay and Display car parks are widely used throughout the Country. Drivers must obtain a ticket from one of the ticket machines immediately after parking in a bay.

The Pay and Display machines do not give change but will accept coins from 5p up to £2. Selected machines in the Amersham multi-storey car park also accept debit/credit cards.

For technical reasons these machines do not accept Switch/Maestro debit cards.

All car parks also operate with a pay by phone parking payment option, provided by 'RingGo'. Rather than having to put money into a pay and display machine, you can use your mobile phone and the cost of parking is simply charged to your credit or debit card.

For further information regarding 'RingGo', please click the following link Pay by phone

Disabled Drivers

Can park free of charge in a disabled bay or any other standard bay (this does not include electric vehicle or any reserved bays) providing they display a valid blue badge.
