Review of a Licence
What is a review?
Where problems associated with the licensing objectives occur at licensed premises, responsible authorities and/or interested parties may call for a review of the premises licence or club premises certificate.
Examples of issues that may trigger a review are:
- Problems with underage drinking on the premises
- Nuisance being caused to local residents from excessively loud music
Any serious or regular breach of conditions attached to a premises licence could also lead to a review of the licence.
For more information about the review process, or if you wish to submit a review application you should read the review guidance document.
