Energy Efficiency

What is energy efficiency?
Although climate change occurs naturally, human activity - in particular the release of carbon dioxide from burning fossil fuels like coal, oil and natural gas - has accelerated the process. Supplies of fossil fuels are finite and our own domestic resources are dwindling, however our demand for energy is growing.
Energy efficiency or energy saving is about making the most of our resources as well as cutting carbon dioxide emissions and it makes economic sense as fuel prices continue to rise.
It is estimated that the average UK household could save up to £250 a year on its energy bills through simple energy efficiency measures. That equates to a staggering £6 billion annually.
