Please note that documents associated with planning applications are available online between 7.30am and 9.00pm on weekdays and all weekend from 7.30am on Saturdays.'
You can view current Planning application for The Grange (Former Holy Cross Convent)
PublicAccess service enables you to:
- monitor and track the progress of an application and associated documents
- search a constantly updated list of applications received each week
- view details of some historic applications and associated documents
- view property details by reference to a map
- view a copy of the decision notice
- Note: The facility to 'Submit Comments' is presently unavailable. If you wish to comment on an application please email planning@chiltern.gov.uk quoting the application number, your name & address along with your comments.
The link opens the PublicAccess terms and conditions page. Scroll down the page and click on the two boxes to agree to the licensing agreement and copyright notice and then the "I Agree" button at the bottom of the page.
If you experience a problem with viewing documents in PublicAccess it may be because of one of the following reasons:
- Our website has some compatibility issues with non-Microsoft Internet Explorer browsers such as Mozilla Firefox.
- You may be unable to view content on our website because your system is filtered by a firewall such as Zonealarm or an office firewall. You may want to add our website to your "safe list".
- Reaching the PublicAccess site by way of a bookmark or favourites link may cause a problem.

Planning Portal
(This link opens a new window to a Central Government website called the Planning Portal. It is not controlled by the District Council although it provides services to us.)
Chiltern District Council is currently unable to accept Planning Applications online or accept payment online via the Planning Portal.
However, the Planning Portal is a national government website which can be used to:
- learn about the national planning system
- find out about development in your area
- research the latest government policy
