In Chiltern District we recycle paper / card in a black box and mixed glass in a green box at the kerbside.
Charges for 55ltr recycling boxes:
Recycle box for paper or glass with lid - £5.00
Recycle box for paper or glass - £3.90
Recycle lid for paper or glass - £1.10
Please note:
- We will not collect paper that is wet. When paying for a paper box please make sure you also purchase a lid. When paper is wet it starts to biodegrade. The heat generated can cause the material to combust whilst in the vehicle or at the paper mill.
- Glass boxes are not required to have lids, but can be supplied at an additional cost
If you wish to order recycling boxes please call Waste Management on 01494 732053 or please visit the Council Offices. This service will be available online soon.
