A neighbourhood is usually a geographic area which is of a size that best serves the needs of local communities reflecting the people that live within it. Chiltern has 12 neighbourhoods, each contains a number of parishes and wards. A map showing the Neighbourhoods in Chiltern District can be downloaded. The neighbourhoods are clustered together to form 8 Neighbourhood Action Groups (NAGs).
Each Neighbourhood has a dedicated Police Team containing Police Officers, Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs), Special Constables and volunteers all working with public agencies and the community.
