Chiltern District Council is a democratically accountable organisation and consists of 40 directly elected Councillors: 31 Conservatives; 5 Liberal Democrats; 2 Independent Members, 1 Labour Member and 1 UKIP Member. Meetings of the Council are open to the public, unless certain prescribed categories of confidential or sensitive information are under consideration.
