Council tax and finance

Council Tax
Most dwellings are subject to the Council Tax. You can view the charges for this financial year, or notify my office if you are moving house.

Non-Domestic Rates
Non-domestic rates, or business rates, collected by local authorities are the way that those who occupy non-domestic property contribute towards the cost of local services.

Housing/Council Tax Benefit
Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit is paid to people who qualify for assistance with their rental costs. We have advice on how to make a claim, and a Benefit Calculator to give you an idea of your entitlement.
