Off-Street Parking

All the Councils car parks operate on a pay and display basis. Pay and Display car parks are widely used throughout the Country. Drivers must obtain a ticket from one of the ticket machines immediately after parking in a bay.

The Pay and Display machines DO NOT GIVE CHANGE but WILL ACCEPT COINS FROM  5p UP TO £2. The Machines in the Amersham/Station multi-storey car park  also accepts  debit/credit cards. For technical reasons these machines DO NOT accept Switch/Maestro debit cards.

All Chiltern District Council car parks operate with a Pay By Phone parking payment option. Rather than having to put money into a pay and display machine, you can use your mobile phone and the cost of parking is simply charged to your credit or debit card
