Clinical and sharps waste collection
There have been some important changes to our Clinical Waste Collection Service.
If you have clinical waste that you need to dispose of please do not put it in your household waste. Syringes, dressings and items of that nature need to be disposed of very carefully.
If you need to arrange a collection please speak to your District Nurse or GP. They will carry out an assessment and will make arrangements for your Clinical Waste to be collected.
We will then collect your clinical waste from an arranged area of your property to ensure discretion. Your collection day will either be a Wednesday, Thursday or Friday (depending which area you live in). Collections start from 7AM, so we ask your waste is in its designated area by this point.
Please note, we do not operate a commercial clinical waste collection scheme.
